Computer Software Problems
Save Money By Learning How to Troubleshoot Your Computer Problems
and Fix them Yourself.
Software is often the culprit for many computer problems. And trying to work through the problems can be tricky.
The first thing you need to do when troubleshooting software problems is define the actual problem. Although some problems appear to be software related, some are may be caused by hardware malfunctions.
A prime example is when you can't print. The problem may be caused by hardware (like when the printer off) or software (when the computer isn't talking to the printer).
There plenty of other examples like this ... and so before you can solve the problem, you need to figure out what the real problem is (what's working, and what's not).
If your computer will boot to the desktop and you still notice software problems, you could have a corruption in one of your software applications or the Windows system (i.e., OS) itself.
These again are tricky to troubleshoot.
You just have to keep isolating things that work and things that don't (and noting any error messages you're getting) in order to narrow down the problem.
If you are seeing error messages after the computer boots, there may be a problem Windows or the a software application. These types of problems are usually due to corruptions or installation (or uninstallation) problems.
